CHAMP Project

CHAMP

The “CHAMP: Combining Horse Athletic Measurements with Precision Genomics” project is an ambitious research initiative involving a collaboration between Scuderia 1918 and prestigious academic institutions: the University of Parma (UNIPR), the University of Turin (UNITO), and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).

Through non-invasive sampling—such as hair collection, specific measurements and video analysis—the research team aims to revolutionize how we measure and analyze the performance of sport horses by applying artificial intelligence and genomics.
