The 2025 Royal Windsor Horse Show saw Lorenzo De Luca and Nector vd Bisschop shine, delivering a memorable weekend with two consecutive podium finishes in the CSI5* 1.50 m classes.

🥇Saturday, May 17th – Victory in the Defender Challenge Stakes
 In the Defender Challenge Stakes (1.50 m – two rounds), Nector vd Bisschop and Lorenzo De Luca claimed the top of the podium with a flawless performance. The course, designed by Bernardo Costa Cabral and Ben Townley, featured 12 obstacles and 15 efforts over 430 meters, with a time allowed of 69 seconds.
The course presented a mix of technical lines and challenging obstacles, including the combination 11a-11b and the double combination 6a-6b-6c. Managing the turns and distances was crucial to maintaining the rhythm and staying within the time allowed.
🥈 Sunday, May 18 – Second Place in the Manama Rose Show Stakes
 The following day, in the Manama Rose Show Stakes (1.50 m – against the clock), the pair delivered another outstanding performance, securing second place. The course, once again designed by Costa Cabral and Townley, stretched over 470 meters with 12 obstacles and 14 efforts, to be completed within 76 seconds.
De Luca and Nector were fifth to go out of 24 combinations and, thanks to a flawless round against the clock, they managed to hold onto second place until the end of the class.
