The Italian Equestrian Sports Federation, through the Eventing Department, forwarded Tuesday July 25th, the riders selected for the upcoming Senior European Eventing Championships in Le Pin Au Haras, France (August 7th/13th).
The appointment as known is a qualifier for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Under the Team Manager Giacomo Della Chiesa and the Team Manager Selector, Katherine Ferguson Lucheschi will be Italian Army Staff Sergeant, Emiliano Portale on Scuderia 1918 Future, Fiamme Azzure Assistant Evelina Bertoli on Fidjy des Melezes, Susanna Bordone on Imperial Van de Holtakkers, the Fiamme Azzurre agent, Fosco Girardi on Euphorie, Federico Sacchetti on Grc Shiraz and the Italian Army’s Graduated, Giovanni Ugolotti on Swirly Temptress. Team Italy’s horses will be under the supervision of team veterinarian Dr. Marco Eleuteri.
Emiliano Portale and Scuderia 1918 Future have already proven to be a promising combination, bringing solid performances in the CCI4*-L in Baborowko and the CCIO4* Nations Cup in Strzegom.
