Pietro Grandis, young promise of Eventing. He grew up between school and stables. During the day he trains, at night he dreams of training. At the beginning horse riding was ‘just’ a passion, but now it’s his life. In 2015 he settled in Germany and became Jung’s first rider.
“The future you see is the future you get.”
It wasn’t difficult for him to settle in Germany, so much that his nickname is “the German” for his fair complexion and blond hair. He gains a great 7th individual place in the European Cup 2019, giving a great impetus to his career.
A very talented young athlete, with a whole career ahead!
“Catching a train that won’t stop here again. Being prepared to leave everything behind to seize an opportunity.”
Pietro Grandis tells us what inspired him, as well as how and why, six years ago, he left his hometown Albissola, Liguria, to move to Michael Jung’s stables in Germany.
